Rainy days and mondays...doesn't necessarily bring me down

It's Monday once again and it's raining since yesterday. Not enough reason to dampen my spirit though. There are still so many things to be thankful for including an available "adventure" ride going to work with my husband. Then a scheduled training for 9AM which was interrupted with the announcement that there was an emergency and that the instructor could not make it until 1PM. Still thankful that I could go to the bank this morning and complete what I had to do. Not really a big deal since both breakfast and lunch were provided to compensate for the non-appearance of the instructor.
I also had the opportunity to meet new friends from different companies :-)
Well, that's it for now since the instructor has finally arrived.

Cool Breeze

It's the happiest time of the year...the month we really look forward to because it give us time to celebrate with our families and enjoy the merry moments. Afterwards, January comes and we're all serious again. But more of that later.

Right now, I just feel blessed to have a new company with most of my colleagues also newly hired. Not much work to do for now but to improve on our technical knowledge through a series of trainings. God is so faithful in my life. He has constantly proven that life indeed can be better and that if we put our trust in Him, He will deliver us and give the desires of our hearts. I don't want to worry yet on what's to come but to just be thankful for what's going on in my life, the financial blessings, the approval from my son for me to go back to work, the support of my husband to all my interests.

Tomorrow, my brother from Singapore will be arriving and it will really be a fun and memorable christmas with my nephews and sis-in-law around. I have already prepared a long list of places to visit and activities to do while they are here for the holidays. Priority will be to go to Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and to Policarpio st. in Mandaluyong City for the tourist attraction there.

It will be a busy month for everyone and hopefully I will be able to log the events that we'll have during this season.

For now, I just hope that it will be a safe, meaningful and peaceful Christmas and new year for all of us.
